WHO IS 'SOPHIE'?
I am Sophie Pelletier, self-taught artist of watercolors, photography and design. Owner and creator of Les Cartes Sophie (2019).
Living with the man of my life and our two lovable best friends, our cat & our dog. Passionate about a lot of things, but above all, passionate about protecting the Earth and connecting with people from all around the world. Spreading the love, one by one on this Earth. WHY ‘LES CARTES SOPHIE’?
Les Cartes Sophie was created in the purpose of spreading the love through greeting cards, one person at a time.
It started in 2018, back than making watercolors was simply to shut down my anxiety and my brain, and than in 2019 Ive made my first market and people really liked it, that’s when it all started. 6 years later I keep making watercolor greeting card and paintings in the purpose of spreading the love but also for the sanity of me. I am definitely in a forever growing stage through this big process of evolution, and I’m thriving, like never before.
As long as my heart is beating. and my imagination is flowing, you’ll see watercolor creations of mine.
And so, Les Cartes Sophie offers mainly a unique service of unique watercolor greeting cards, but also offers watercolor paintings from 0”X0” to 22”X30”, printed clothes, watercolor workshops and much more.

WHERE ARE YOU BASED?
My studio is settled in the mountains in North New Brunswick, Canada. Nature sure make a big impact on my creativity, process, evolving etc.

WHAT MATERIALS DO YOU USE TO CREATE YOUR ORIGINAL ARTWORK?
Every artwork is made using high pigmented quality watercolor paint, acid-free archival Microns pens, and Fabriano cold press acid-free watercolor paper 100 % cotton. I also use white ink, gold watercolor and glitters.
Dimensions available are from 0”X0” to 22”X30”.

WHAT MATERIALS DO YOU USE TO CREATE YOUR PRINTS?
Every print is printed from home, using an Epson Ecotank printer. I print on Fabriano cold press acid-free watercolor paper, 100 % cotton. Individually sign by me. Every product is made from A to Z into my studio, from my hands.
Dimensions available are from 0”X0” to 13”X19”.

DO YOU DO ANY BRANDING OR DESIGN WORK?
Yes! Absolutely, I do love collabs. Of course, it needs to speak to me, and I believe in good timing.

CAN I COMISSION AN ORIGINAL PIECE OF ARTWORK? SPECIAL REQUESTS?
You certainly can! This is what I love the most, create something special for a loved one. If you want an original and unique artwork, feel free to send me a message/e-mail of what you want; colors, theme, ideas, dimensions, and it will be my pleasure to create for you.

DO YOU WHOLESALE?
No, I don’t. My products take a great amount of time to imagine/produce, and I prefer to work in small batches and sell directly to my customers. Of course, there’s always exceptions, feel free to message us about your request.

HOW SHOULD I CARE FOR MY ARTWORK?
It is recommended to place the artwork in a frame covered with glass or hard plastic to keep its lifetime and make it an everyday decoration. This will prevent it from twisting and its colors fading over time. Also, I recommend to not place the artwork in the sun rays. (Except to see the magic for seconds.)
